Summer Conferences

Since 1897, Star Island has been the home of a variety of educational and religious conferences focusing on spiritual renewal and personal growth. This tradition continues today. The conferences range from contemplative weekend retreats that cater to relatively small numbers of conferees to bustling family conferences housing over two hundred and fifty men women and children.

The Isles of Shoals Association’s commitment to the conferences and conferees on Star Island stretches back to the founding of the ISA as an organization. Whether it is new rowboats or ensuring the preservation of the Rutledge Marine Lab, the ISA remains dedicated to the individual conferee’s Star experience.
